Its taken me long enough, but I’ve finally got round to starting the model railway projects. Yes, two projects: small scale, and slightly larger scale. I’ve created a dedicated page to cover these projects and any progress that is made (I’m being overly optimistic that I will make progress since it has taken decades to get going on this again).
So today I went to the Folkestone Model Railway exhibition 2012, interestingly held in Folkestone. This was the first model OO and n-gauge rail show I’ve been to in years (I’m not including the 16mm.org show in March). Really fabulous show and well worth going to. It is still on tomorrow (7 Oct) so if you get a chance and are in the area I can recommend going. Loads of layouts and loads of trade stand – spent lots, which is all part of the fun.

Seriously not had any time to keep this blog updated as much as I would like.
A number of model railway orientated items to add. Firstly, The Telegraph has an article covering the new model railway that opened up in Berlin, Loxx. Really very good image gellery.
Also in The Telegraph is a companion piece covering the world’s best miniature railways, non of which I have visited.
Finally, a few weekends ago I went to the 16mm society’s National Garden Railway exhibition in Peterborough, most excellent.
