Inspired by this photo…
I’m still trying to decide whether a visit to the National Railway Museum is in order this year. It will probably be the only opportunity to see all 6 A4s together; this is assuming that someone in the UK isn’t inspired to buy both overseas versions. But the two visitors are really starting to look awesome, pity they haven’t been looked after.
Really not sure why St Pancras International is completely empty, but normally of a morning these platforms have a few trains waiting, arriving or ready to depart.
So today I went to the Folkestone Model Railway exhibition 2012, interestingly held in Folkestone. This was the first model OO and n-gauge rail show I’ve been to in years (I’m not including the 16mm.org show in March). Really fabulous show and well worth going to. It is still on tomorrow (7 Oct) so if you get a chance and are in the area I can recommend going. Loads of layouts and loads of trade stand – spent lots, which is all part of the fun.
