Railway Twins

I am sure that the writer of this BBC new article needs to check their facts. “One of Wales’ smallest railways” , so small as in size (physical sizes), narrow, or how do they want to define ‘small’.

Indian twin for mountain railway
One of Wales’ smallest railways is to be twinned with one of the largest rail companies in the world.

The Indian Railway Company’s Darjeeling Himalaya line, which opened in 1882, was modelled on the much older Ffestiniog Railway in Gwynedd.

The two companies hope the partnership will help to preserve the heritage of the railways here and in India.
