An eastward expansion of France’s high-speed rail network is about to bring German trains to Paris for the first time since the Second World War. [The Times – UK]

The only saving grace is that Glasgow and Edinburgh is looking to link up using German Maglev, the rest of the UK will just switch to back to canals, or horse and cart (yes I am mocking the UK rail network!, Its a huge national disgrace). But at least I live in the heart of Europe to enjoy and appreciate high speed rail 🙂
